Since childhood I have always had a dreamcatcher above my bed.
It always gave me a sense of peace to know that my bad dreams would be trapped in the webs, leaving me free to roam and explore my own universe when I closed my eyes at night.
When I returned home from the military, a dear Native friend of mine made me a special dream catcher for my birthday, the most beautiful one I had ever owned.
I was so enthralled and touched by the gift, he eventually made me two others, always somehow even more magical than the last.

All three of them hang on my bedroom walls to this day, and they always will.

My friend Johnny has passed on now, but his kindness and love will live on in my heart forever.
